About me:

Serious about photography for 60 years, with some years off for good behavior. Did 35mm and 2 1/4 twin reflex; mixed chemicals, developed, printed, enlarged, toned, etc. Now I am exclusively digital, supported by Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom. I will shoot anything 'in the moment'; birds, dogs, people, landscapes. Don't like posing or studio work. FZ200, TCON17; TS3; LX7; and a Pentax 35mm, 1.4 Spotmatic for nostalgia.

In reply to:

libertylady: This is a fun challenge. There are many great images.

I think we should remember that we are showing other people's art. We can get credit for how we portray that, but the original artist deserves the accolades. It will be difficult to tell whether the scores reflect the photographer or the original artist.

I see that you have just started submitting here. I have been at it for quite some time. The competition is tough and I have had spotty results so far. Keep at it and welcome.
