I hate the electronic zooms. Not fast enough or precise enough for framing pics.
I have an FZ35 that I still use.
I have been looking at getting something new with a new sensor in it. This would be a contender, except for not having a manual zoom.
I agree about the lack of a decent manual focus. Presently using an FZ100, the manual focus is too difficult to adjust with any accuracy,. Give me a manual focus ring around the barrel any day and let ME zoom to where I want it and not max zoom as the present offerings on Pana bridge cameras. I still have a DMCFZ10 ( circa 2004/5 ) which has a manual focus ring but still zooms to max at the point of focusing.
