On Nikon D7200 First Impressions Review preview (1114 comments in total)

So, this is how Nikon plans to fight the 38,1% drop in DSLR sales since 2012 ?
Not to mention D7100 owners who will sadly face the value-drop of their camera on the second hand market. Excellent way to upset their customers, way to go.
When men can't change things, they change the name. D7100->D7200.
NFC ? Well, that's marketing BS that applies to compact cameras or smartphones, not a serious digital SLR camera. The years when Nikon was a pioneer and a real innovater have vanished (Nikon F, F4, D300, D700)
You wanted a tilt-screen ? Doesn't take a rocket-scientist to forecast a D7300 in 2 years with this improvement. We are passionate photographers, not milk cows.

On Zeiss introduces 'no distortion' Otus 1.4/85mm article (339 comments in total)

I would hate to sound picky, but this over-4000$-lens is NOT distortion free. It quick look at the data sheet asserts differently.

On French newspaper publishes issue with no photos article (203 comments in total)

Hi everyone,

Sorry to correct the article, but there is more to it than just a mere suppport to photographers, or anything in connection to the Chicago Sun-Times affair.

It is related to a photographer who got shot yesterday in the office of Liberation, and who is in balance between life & death.

On Nikon 1 AW1 preview (590 comments in total)

Come on, give me break.
Rebirth of the mythical Nikonos ? Nikonos were slr cameras, designed at the beginning for Commandant Cousteau so he could take pictures under the sea. This Nikon 1 is merely an hybrid with some waterproof features. It's like comparing apples with tomatoes.
Let's cut the marketing crap once and for all.

On DxOMark investigates lenses for the Nikon D600 article (14 comments in total)

Really amazing job of DxO.
I had a thought for others than merely D600-Users. So I've compiled every DxO Lens-test on one single Excel-File. Now, everyone, can filter with the camera of his choice.
Have fun !
