long exposure photography with a ND filter, sometimes you just need that extra stopping power and iso50 does that.

The Sigma is a good choice. WRT the 50 vs. the 35? I think that is an apples to oranges comparison really. I know it doesn't sound like much but in reality the 50 you would use for portraiture more...

I believe the Sony one only has those buttons as well. It isn't overly filled with buttons. I was considering purchasing this VG but I had heard mixed experiences about the battery not showing when...

hold on, what's the total price going to be for the a99 w/ flash?

wow, you got the top bodies from the top dogs there. I'm assuming your a pro tog, if not, you are a very fortunate person. Enjoy your new tool.

i originally got my hvl-56 for $230 I believe. Not much more than what you want to spend. It's just a matter of looking. Plus, you get to keep all the goodies that come with a native flash. Not...

Looks great but the only thing bothering me is the vignetting. It seems to be less prone to vignetting in your f/8 shots. wide open it seems to vignette significantly. Of course this may not be a...

The first 2 are great. The rest are just a tad bit repetitive but I can see why you would post so many, you were excited! Nothing wrong with that, I know I would have been as well. Great overall...

lmao. sry to laugh but it reminds me of myself when I don't want to know anything about an upcoming show/movie/book to not spoil anything.

Actually,...

I have this combo and I honestly never even considered it for these type of shots. I always felt the AF is quite slow with it being a macro and all. You have proved me wrong and maybe next time I...

one and only bump before it goes to the exclusives over at Dyxum.

That last shot is a great one. I have a 16-50 2.8 in Sony mount and it stays on my camera 80% of the time.

I need to sell this lens to get the funds for another lens. Please let me know if you need additional pics. This lens is in phenomenal condition. 9.5/10 and considering it's age I think it is quite...

additionally, try not to photograph children from normal shooting level. Get down to their height and shoot from there. Usually this makes for a better background and you get a far more flattering...

I usually don't put my self out there to get flamed but I honestly feel that your shot is much better than a lot of the ones that placed higher than yours. I'm not sure who does the judging but...

second one is great but the wb of both shots are so different that they would have been great as separate sets. Both great though.

I always say if you must shoot when the sun is giving off harsh shadows it is always better to use a shaded area plus a reflector if needed.

phenomenal write up. I hope you don't mind but I linked your thread on Dyxum so that the members over there can come check it out here. Additionally, I see that the part you replaced has the back...
