It will be most helpful if you can be precise about the error message or maybe post a screenshot and describe the steps required until you get to the problem.

Like all war games, to some it's more than what it would mean for you or me. There is documented facts, films, recordings, books and what not on the matter. I see no valid point in disregarding...

Good point on the RAF part. I find the constant bombardment of WWII documentaries and what not that especially British television pours over their audiences more than disgusting since the main goal...

With a leather strap around my neck, usually in a half case. When carrying gear through airports and what not or if I also bring the SLR, I use a nice think tank photo retrospective bag, love it.

As others have said already: go and rent it for a bit, if you have the option. It's a good way to decide if you like the gear enough.
But then again, if money is not a problem for you (and it...

I have used maps on multiple occasions in different countries, and sure, while not always accurate, it generally does a pretty good job and gets me where I want without complications....

Well, since you asked, you might think it's overkill yourself. But then that's a decision nobody can take of you. Personally, I usually travel around with two cameras (smartphone doesn't count).

It's never a good idea to adjust your lifestyle because you read something from ONE person on the internet. :)
I have always felt that the camera improved quite a bit with the firmware updates.

Maybe check those same pictures a second time by viewing them on a different computer. If the issue persists, then you or the camera might have a focussing problem.

I'd of paid?
Can you translate this into English? It looks close but since you're actually in the UK, maybe enlighten us what it really means.
-
You mean Zeiss, right? I keep reading Zesis every time...

I haven't, but maybe check the Ricoh instead of the Fuji forum for more details? Good luck!

Many thanks for sharing your experiences on this too! Much appreciated!

SAB was a common problem and I would not speculate how many cameras were affected over time. In fact, it was THE common problem a couple months ago.
Mine got repaired by Fuji Ireland with no...
