About me:

My career in photography spans over 40 years, beginning as a rock concert photographer and then staff photographer for the New York Nets basketball team in 1974.

My original photographs have been exhibited at art shows for over 35 years.

I'm active on numerous forums where I answers questions about photography, digital imaging and art shows.

Shooting exclusively digital since 2001, my current digital photo art has been featured in the best selling book "Mastering Digital Printing" and in "Art Business News". I also write about photography and imaging technology for Shutterbug Magazine.

Since 2004, I've worked with thousands of artists helping improve their jury images and now also photographs artwork for artists to apply to art shows with.

  • It's the direction you point your photography. I've spent the past 45 years chasing fine art photographs that I could market. I've successfully sold my photographs at art shows for over 35 years. ...
  • I used one for years to shoot my fine art still lifes. The first two birdhouse images were done on 4x5 but the rest were with the 500CM and 120mm Makro lens: http://larryberman.com/p523926727

Most photographers plan that in advance. They set up on a tripod and take three pictures to create a triptych with. Cutting a picture into thirds reduces the pixel dimensions you have to print, ...
