Sorry Guys.... Mine x10 is simply damaged...:(
Aperture doesn't work - it remains at approx. f8.0 all the time and it wont open nor shut.

Hi Guys !

I've just made a small test that seems to prove x10 (at least the one I have) is cheating on ISO.

It seems that the REAL sensitivity of x10 is approx. ISO 400...
Or maybe mine is damaged...?

Please see and tell me if you also have the same feeling ?:

Can anyone verify this using a light meter (I do not have one at home) ?

BR

migawka_com: Got used to my X10, a little bit...:)
My first impression (1st week) was very bad.

I still keep discovering "akwardnesses" in operation/menus (e.g. you have to disable "face recognition" for a moment if you want to change the size of AF frame) but slowly learning how to use the camera "on my way"...

First of all, most of the advanced features there are obsolete, distrurbing and in "beta-state" of production, I would say.
- "Best frame capture": it forces LCD to be on and I want to use OVF, mainly.
- All the EXR, JPG, Noise reduction, dynamic range...mambo jumbo...only ruins good photos by blurring the noise and then sharpening what is left of the details... I WANT ONLY RAW and no "rocket science JPGs"...:)
- the list is long here...

But with time, I must admit that I am begining to like this camera :)

I am still giving my X10 a chance, anyway...:))

PS. No "ORBS", so far...:)

OK, found the solution: "Quick Start" stops working if you let IPad empty the SD card...:) After formating it in camera, the x10's start-up time gets shorter.

Do you know perhaps, why my 'Quick Start' is not working ?
I have it "ON" in the menu but still the camera needs approx. 3 sec. to power on before I am able to take a shot....? Thanks in advance ! BR

So far I think my X10 could be a digital version of LOMO LC-A :)
Disable the LCD, use optical viewfinder, multipoint AF, RAW and NEVER EVER go into MENU.!!! :))

Got X10 few days ago...
Sorry to say that but it is a junk camera in my opinion...:(
FUJI released some kind of pre-production model, I am affraid :(

After just 2 days of using it, I've found almoust 10 different BUGS in menu/operations. (I do have the latest firmware v 1.03....)
Even BUGS reported by FUJI as "resolved" still appear.

I've expected easy and fun to use camera with intuitive operation.
Instead, I got the most complicated camera, I've ever seen..! :(
So many strange dipedencies here...e.g.: "AF" button doesn't work if "face recogniction" is enabled and so on...crap...AF/AE lock button - I still have not found a way how to make it work - a combination of settings that disabled this functionality, somehow...

Please note that I've been using many different cameras for 20 years or so...
I've also had many different DSLRs and compact cameras (like e.g. Canon S90).

Although, dissapointed. I am still giving my X10 a chance.
I am trying to use C1,C2 to bypass menu&buttons....
