WOW, what impact those waves have! I would say it is one of the best shots I've seen of the ocean, I especially love the deep cold blue, the rocks across the foreground and if you like paintings of oceans, this would hang beside the best of them.

Fantastic! The addition of the basket for your shot was a good one! Really nice warm feeling from looking at it.

Wow, how lucky to see the baby! We have many Sandhill Cranes that nest here during the summer, but I've never spied one of the chicks, not until they are much older than this. Great shot!

I loved the edginess in this shot. The material in her dress is gorgeous and I like the red 'scarf' flowing back over the tall grass. The lighting is very dramatic, lovely!

Congrats on placing 3rd. Another of my favorites and I was sure I wasn't alone in loving it. It's full of the passion for gold and the jewelery still jumps out and catches one's eyes!

I was in love with your shots from the moment I saw it. Two of my favorite things; polka-dots and Vespa! It is nostalgic of the vintage posters from the 60s. Great shot!

Congratulations on a beautiful shot! There was some very tough competition, that's for sure. I loved how the dress seems to have a life of it's own.

And here I thought it was some clever photoshop work! Love the unique pepper. Works out great for a colorful dish using only one pepper. Too bad you couldn't keep the seeds and grow more like this. Ha!

Lovely lighting and I like the subtle stripes in the background. It's very clean looking, white's great for that.

Nice! I was going to give this a try some time. Did you try any thin slices using this method?

Awww but there is a fish, unfortunately it is only an appetizer. :o) I love how he/she is looking to make sure the little guy is there. Maybe thinking, "I thought you were way bigger than this!" Nice win!
