Phone cams don't pretend to compete with high-end DSLRs, but they are really useful as the 'camera that's always in your pocket.' With good light, I can make saleable prints from my iPs up to A3+...

Apple's (free) iMovie software makes the iP5s ideal for videomakers, especially if, like me, you shoot quickie in-the-field stuff for uploading. It feels surprisingly lighter than the iP4s too,...

It's because the iP5S is a new phone, hence newsworthy. I expect the next Galaxy will be featured when relevant.

Wow that rusting (oil?) installation would look good in a steampunk drama. Love panos, and it'll be interesting to compare it with my 3rd party AutoStitch app.

Love the taste of Rene Magrittein these images, so I count as one of the arty ones and would like to view her show. Vid didn't do too much for me though - probably better using micro-clips, and...

Nice imagery. The vid doesn't seem to work on my iPad though.

I have no trouble in producing saleable prints at A3+ from my iPhone 4S, that's at 150dpi, at which my Epson R3000 produces excellent images. I guess it would be nice to run up to A2 without...

Looks an excellent tool for snorkelers like me. Bright skin useful for dry land protection in and around the beach and bar. If it has decent IQ, I'll have one.

Yep, an attractive image. My iP4S takes fine pix, and I sell lots of them - it's the photographer's eye that counts, not what the shot's taken on.

My iP4S earns its keep in the art-print market, so I'm looking forward to the 5S shifting things up a few notches.

Good post, Mr B. Comment and interaction are what the web is all about, particularly in a site like DPR where readers/commenters are mostly participants in the site's prime focus. Just so long as...

Coolpix 990 - excellent split-twist design, and (for the time) decent pictures. Battery life wasn't so good though, and I was lucky to get more than 30 shots per charge. In midwinter, armpits...

I don't go for the retro look, preferring the more original styling of other G-series cams. That said, the spec seems good, especially the tilting EVF. But leaving out a mic input is an...

Don't really care about the tele, but the 20mm wide is appealing, if Pana has managed to keep thing sharp. Not sure how this cam fits with the FZ200 - cheaper build, electronics? For landscapes...

Pentax may have missed a trick by not finishing this in a dinky Wedgewood pattern. A pantheon of relevant Greek gods dancing along the bottom might raise the cam from its Hello Kitty roots. Or...

Sorry Olympus: I do like a built-in flash, even if it isn't very powerful. If my iPhone can manage to tuck one onboard...
