That would be nice, though a FF version might be a bit larger

I would wait until after the announcement of the 55-200 tomorrow. According to some of the rumor sites, Fuji might update their lens roadmap. Hopefully, there is a another telephoto prime on the...

No, though that particular FL is a bit lower on my list of needs. I'm leaning towards picking up the 23mm or 55-200 first. I think the 27mm will make a nice lightweight option though.
-
No, I think it's just a plain mounted optical viewfinder that has brightlines to indicate around 90% scene coverage.
-
Based on specs alone, the X100s with the faster lens and hybrid OVF/EVF is better in general though I believe the Nikon is more compact. I think the more interesting fact is that this might be a...

I think it's just there if you want a super compact and light option like the m4/3 shooters who like using the Panasonic 14mm f2.5 or 20mm f1.7 pancake lenses on their cameras.

I wish it was going to be just $499. It's just that the cheapest XF lens is $599. I think they'll probably price it at the same price as the 18-55 at $699. I think they might offer it at $499 if...

Impressive, I can't wait until they put the AF improvements into the X-Pro1 and X-E1 successors. It's actually a main complaint of mine in my Fuji X-E1 besides that it's harder to change AF points...

The Nikon 105mm VR has one of the faster Nikon AF-S motor in it compared to the slow motors that's in the original 3 prime lenses of Fuji. You might be able to squeeze more AF speed out of the lens...

Lenses hold their value much better than camera bodies. If you buy it for this the price you mentioned, it reduces the chance that you will sell it at a loss. However, it's very hard to determine...

I think he's probably talking about a type of buyers remorse not exactly about feeling guilty.
-
I'm oddly sensing some type of non-disclosure agreement.

Nice work, though as Al mentioned you could have left the tripod at home. The image stabilization in the 18-55 f2.8-4.0 is quite good.
-
I think it's possible if Fuji is following the standard yearly release schedule for mirrorless cameras. If so, I would expect to see a X-E1 replacement to come out during that October/November time...
-
Probably none of them. I think they would be a bit bigger if they could cover FF.
-
I can swear that my Tokina 11-16 f2.8 has something similar. It's ok for the most part. I like it better than having to flip a switch on a lens for MF.
-
It's something very useful to have especially if you want to really control what's in focus. It would also be helpful in situations where the X100s might have problems locking in AF like low...
-
I think there's a limitation to the AF speed with the old motors in the original 3 prime lenses regardless how well the AF improves in the body with PD hybrid focus. However, I think I would be...
-
I don't think they would update the X-Pro 1 and X-E1 that fast. However, I think they might decide to update the X-Pro 1 sooner than the X-E1 since that was released earlier than the X-E1....

I just picked up a Fuji X-E1 and 18-55 kit lens as well as a 35mm f1.4 to bring back with me to Manila. I'm actually surprised how good the IQ is from the 18-55 and 35mm f1.4 lenses. The 35mm f1.4...
