Whats with all the 28mm equivalents these days?! I HATE 28mm equivalents. Give us at least a 35 or a 40!

Well where is the modern variant of the "Kwanon" rangefinder camera? Thats what they need.

Theres only two choices here, the Stylus or the Rx100. If I want a brick, why not buy a dslr with a 18-200 zoom for the same money or less??

On Update: Olympus issues emergency firmware fix for E-P5 article (21 comments in total)

Just hope they "issue" to all others who own olympus cameras with shutter shock issues. My E-pm2 is practically useless with shutter speeds slower than 1/250.

I sooo wish Nikon would read these comments, bur looking at their linup, you know they never do. Like where is the FF-sensor in a d3300 body? I wouldnt even care about other companies mirrorless-offerings it they just released that.

peevee1: It would be hard to sell it in the USA for $700 (or whatever they want in other countries?) when Oly E-PM2 goes for $249 with kit lens.

Did the mistake myself of buying the e-pm2 double lens kit a while ago. I thought "what a deal!" Well any shutter speed under 1/250 gives shutter shock, thats shakes the camera so the images get blurry. So, I will NEVER buy a camera a with mechanical shutter again, only electronic or global shutter. My fantastix Nikon J1 has an electronic shutter, thus giving me sharp photos down to a 1/15s.

How do we know that the images are taken with a cellphone and not images taken with a dslr or a m43 camera?

On 6 tips for printing from your smartphone post (11 comments in total)

Great post, BUT PLEASE DONT encourage people to sharpen mobile pictures! They are allready oversharpened straight from the phone and almost every lab sharpens automatically when printing your shots. Oversharpened images look horrible in print.

On VSCO Cam arrives for Android post (9 comments in total)

Works almost flawlessy on my S4. Just stopped one time when I was trying to export one edited image to my VSCO folder in my phone, but I just exported it again and then it worked. To bad theres only two filters that look like film, The C1 preset, all the others are virtually useless. But it was free, so I will buy some more presets when my "adobe"-canceled credit-card is renewed :) Thanks VSCO! I could have payed for ONLY the C1-preset.

graybalanced: Some people won't be happy unless Apple does miracles, but there are a lot of good things about the new iPhone camera. Seriously, it's good to have a larger aperture, larger sensor/pixel sizes, 120fps (I recently bought a camera for that feature), dual-color flash (surely you realize how ghastly the color balance is on most LED flashes), and local tone mapping!

These are worthwhile. Apple didn't have to do all that. Optical stabilization would be nice, and so would manual exposure control but you can get that with apps. Apple did a good job here.

Hm.. My SG4 has a 2.2 aperture already.. ;)

DELETED88781: Small sensor is not good regardless of any feature.
Entry level FF DSLR has 4 times bigger sensor and only 200g more weight.
Cost? Almost the same.

I say, whats the point of a small camera IF you put a 24-70 /2.8 equivalent on it? Why the make anything but pancakes for the m43 system is beyond me.
