I'd love to se how it behaves on a fullframe camera, could you Show N' Tell?
-
Hey Jim.
I think that can happen with any camera but the D200 is a battery killer in particular. I had it kill of two batteries because I rarely to never use it and just forgot the battery in the...

I'd say no to the question if you can see a difference right away, though ofc you can see it to some extend in print or in 100% on screen
if its worth the extra cash. I'd say... If the price...

I'v had problems with 16 and 32gb Sandisk Extreme and Extreme Pro. could be related to filling the buffer.

makes sence. though a 24-35mm is not very that attractive.
-
arhh ok, I thought that was fullframe examples...
-
I'm thinking could perhaps work from 20-35 at best, and a 1.8 at that, pretty nice :)

Fail to see your point.... If I like apples the best, why would I buy two oranges for the same price? btw its not a brand thing, more of... I don't think the cameras are in the same category.

I Agree. And from a Photojournalist point of view this looks to be an awesome camera. The G1X comparison is kinda Orange VS Apples sin-logic to my ears

I was reminded of that story as well. The way Alex worked back then inspired me a lot :)
-
Its rather unlikely.I'd expect the next 24-70 at around the D5 release... So say 2015 or somost of the f2.8 zooms are roughly on an 8 year life cycle

If I where in you position I would really look at what I already have and try and guess what would fill the most gap or such.105mmFor me, my 105mm is quite often used instead of my 70-200, if I...
-
I agree, that's impressive, you don't own a 2.8 to compare with by chance?
-
I used mine extensively since it came out. With everything from 24mm to 600mm. I have had no issue with the grip. I think maybe you grip is a little broken, or maybe you tripod-mount is lose (if...

This is very nice work :)

Well the Nikkor 50 f1.8g is difficult to compete with on that price level since its almost 4 times cheaper than the Zeiss 50 f2 Macro (which is the best for shapness). If you take only price...

Did you think about getting a MF lens... I mean since you do video most.Theres the Zeiss, Voigtlander 58 1.4 and a load of different Ai-s Nikkors.I find that the manual focus lenses works way...
