ACDSee 5 Pro and prior versions have been slow to start for me. I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit with 8 GB RAM.

Any one feel ACDSee Pro 6 is faster than Pro 5 from an image browser perspective?

MrTed, are you letting ACDSee Pro create a database of your images? In version 5 and previous it always showed the speed at adding to the DB in the lower right hand corner. But once that process was complete ACDSee is very fast for browsing photos even if they are RAW.
