I actually wanted to see how the camera did at high ISO so I used auto ISO with 1/1250 min shutter speed on purpose.
I'll often shoot birds in auto ISO but in manual mode so I can quickly adjust...

I just picked up a D7100 as a backup body for paid shoots and for a little more reach when birding (which is not paid). I thought I'd post some shots as an example of what this combo is capable...

Awesome story and great pictures. Personally, I think you succeeded!

Not sure if this fits your idea of a portrait but here goes. Took this last weekend.

Went out to shoot around cherry blossom trees, but they had too many leaves coming in. Instead I turned on the ND filter in my X100S and got some shots of my significant other almost wide...

Some fantastic shots, but I especially love the birds in the field and the scream!

Fantastic work, love the light in the first two especially!

Really great shots - and a good idea for setting around town more when traveling.

Awesome, I love the texture in the shot.

Fantastic shots - looks like a really beautiful location! Love the 14mm! :)

I had a couple of days in Chicago and went on a couple of walks to take pictures in the city. I'm not much of a city-scape photographer but I got a few shots that I liked.

Wow, very dramatic, I love this shot!

I'd love it to work this way as well. Was dealing with backlit scenes today and needed to go to manual ISO to get a correct exposure - exposure comp dial to adjust ISO would behave been...

I'm getting my X100S today or tomorrow and am super interested to see if I can sync at 1/500th or beyond with this camera (and my Ranger Quadra). The built in ND filter should make this fun!

Stunning images! I almost killed my back by lugging a huge camera to Rome last summer - it's what prompted me to get a Fuji camera and lenses.
You've done a fantastic job of stitching and HDR...

I like your last two shots!

There has been some talk I've seen about the 18mm lens being not that sharp (often when compared to the 35mm lens). I've not done a direct comparison myself but I find my 18mm plenty sharp and I...

Sorry, just to clarify, I do not want TTL.
Just a plain flash with good power that tilts and swivels.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a tilt/swivel flash that can be used on an x-pro1/x-e1? I could likely use one of my SB-900s in 'auto' mode, but I'd prefer something that wasn't a TTL flash...
