AlexBakerPhotoz: Great idea!
Ben Raven: The most arresting shot of a classic windmill I have ever seen,And one that truly captures the essence of a WINDmill.
WIND and MILL and TIME as one !
A hearty congratulations on your originality.
Thanks everyone :)
Thanks everyone for voting on this photo :) The photo turned out really nice.
mangemang: Wow, what a striking image!
Oh no...forgot the border
JacobSR: Beautiful scene. I was wondering if you use artificial lighting, the rocks and the grass in the foreground are nicely exposed.
The grass is lighter because its being illuminated from behind by the sun.
The sun is not completely down so obviously there was still light and there were some clouds that made the shadows on the rocks a bit soft.
Thank you for your comment, show me one image on 500px.com on first page that is not processed in one way or another? If you expect to win with straight out of camera shots then you must be living in some other world?
Hi Thanks, its just one shot with no artificial lighting, just exposed properly and then a little post processing in LR4.
Thats a perfect wallpaper for your iMac or any other widescreen monitor.
Actually the sunlight was extra bright that day and this hill is actually very green but yes I did add a bit of saturation for printing. But thanks for liking the photo :)
Ben Raven: Bold composition. The inter-play of golden light and shadow -- just wonderful !!
