Dolan Halbrook: OK, I just have to say that's absurdly clean for ISO 12800.
All subjective isn't it? As a Sony owner, I know what the Nex 5n sensor is capable of in real life. While good, Sony has not figured out high ISO's like Canon or Nikon. The fact that Nex 5n is their best high ISO attempt over the Nex 7, A65 & A77, they are clueless in the area. Nikon takes the same sensors and are miles ahead in high ISO output. 24 MP in a APS-C sensor was the dumbest move.
I am sorry but I don't think Sony can keep up with these pictures.
drakkar: Well done Fujifilm! Its on the top of the wave again!A few months ago Takeshi Higuchi, head of the company's camera division, said "Japan's Fujifilm aims to become the world's fourth largest camera maker by next March and the No. 3 manufacturer two years later, overtaking first rival Samsung and then Nikon, a senior company executive said." The objective is more and more close.
Those are lofty goals.
