How can you live with a keyboard number pad-less?
Ciao!!!

Ah, this makes sense: as a typical roman born, I've never been there up (romans do not know well Rome)!
Ciao!!!

Liked them much.Just for curiosity, what was your location when taking the last picture (the one with the Colosseum in the background)?
Ciao!

I never make use of this mode on the E-M5, since this way the image is cropped a bit both if you choose a blue background or a black one.

Welcome to Dpreview and to the forum. As a first generation (i.e. old :-) ) m4/3 user I confess I am very intrigued by my recent OM-D purchase, a camera full of bonuses but basically a strong...

Anyway, is it a normal behaviour (to have to previously press the OK button) or I'll have some setting enabled in an obscure menu?
Ciao!

Yes, but I discovered it works - in my case - just if I press before the OK button at the centre of the 4-ways controller; adding what you wrote, makes the function pratically useless. Not a big...

Maybe it's a stupid question, but why my OM-D touchscreen works only to tap focus + actuating shutter; for enlarging/reducing focusing/magnified area; and finally (in iAuto mode) for controlling...

A small problem I have with my brand new OM-D is that its AF illuminator is on the left side of the camera, where I hold the lens with my left hand, and to make room for the beam I have to lift it...

I am sure this sound strange in 2013, but I do not possess any tablet. Prefer creating contents than enjoying them. :-) So a pity since I thought I could put my slim notebook in the bag.
But what...

Searching for a bag capable of containing the OM-D + another MILC camera with external EVF, lenses, flash and a bit of other accessories I went for the Lowepro Urban Photo Sling 250.
However...

Where did you get the cord?

Only problem with NEX-5n is that you have to choose, either the flash (the clip-on/the HVL-F20S) or the EVF. Preferred the EVF, might change my mind with the most powerful flash.
Ciao e grazie!

Menus and controls are very complicated, even I went from the E-P1 and E-PL1, so I was accustomed to Olympus commands: but I have been using the camera only for a few days, and growing. :-)

Really can't decide myself... the plastic mount of version II seems a bit a step backwards (even if I use as everyday lens the older L version, with plastic mount too), maybe I should stay with a...

Thank you. Something that prevents me for getting the (very low priced) II R version is its plastic mount, where the original 14-42mm had a metal one (not the L version, however).
Ciao!

Read the review you kindly provided the link of, honestly I do not find compelling reasons to upgrade from generation I 14-42mm. Maybe focusing is a bit faster with the II and R incarnations, but I...
