:) I am not that patient. It was by chance, I was trying to spot a lonely fisherman on a boat in a fog (typical classic) when I saw this reflection. There was also a contest on another site for reflections at that time so I used it there as well.
It is a single exposure shot in RAW. It was early foggy morning and I used a tripod. Not much problem with dynamic range. Thanks for the comments.
GabrielZ: Stunning! One of the best landscape photos I've ever seen!
Yes, thanks, he replied to my email. All is good now.
Could you please remove my image from your avatar!
omoise: I am a little confused here. Is this challenge about the true "Alpenglow" as GR described it, or are any sunsets/sunrises accepted? After looking at all the submissions, I'm starting to believe I got the theme wrong...
How do you find horizon in the mountains? (again I am just confused :)
Martin Ocando: Challenge have been cleaned and images having the sun or direct sunlight in it have been disqualified with the proper explanation to the competitor. I apologize for the late action, but I was busy.
I am confused. My image had the rising sun behind the mountain, with the reflected glow and got DQ'd but there are still many images which very clearly have direct sunlight. While I am NOT that bothered about keeping the image in the challenge I am very confused.
Good shot but pity about the title
This is not posed. It is a wild animal. They are common where I live.
Congrats, Leo! Nice to see :)
What's wrong with koala bear?
Great expressions :)
It would be my top vote if not for the title. Beautiful light
I like how the people are elongated, eery effect
Blur in post or lensbaby? Works well in this shot
TS lens? Very graphical
Beautiful colors (from PP?), could be better if the edges edges were cleaned up
Technically the best in the challenge
