I love this lens, gets used more than any others, very versatile and good results.

One extra consideration is the extra OSS for video on the silver unit. May not be a factor if you don't shoot too much video. I love mine.

I have the Domke F-5XB and it can carry all of that kit and is very streamlined. I leave he 18200 attached a lot when I travel and can carry the 50 plus another small lens, plus extra flash, evf, etc.
