Have you guys done any usability tests and/or in-depth interviews on new forum prototypes early in the design process? The new functionality sounds promising and my guess is that you have done some user research about the goals and needs that drove the new functional specification. It's hard for people to imagine using things by looking at static pictures. It's great nonetheless that you're showing your designs. There may be some valuable input among all the comments. I'd take opinions with a grain of salt though. It' more valuable to actually observe people using your products than asking about their opinions.Great work!
Jim Lowell: I'm sorry, but I have no interest in HDR photography. I'm still missing the point of it, frankly. I shoot raw and try to take a great photo everytime using my knowledge and camera options and then post process later in apps like CSRaw and Photoshop to print later on quite well.
Good for you Jim, good for you.
