If the caption said, "photography student retrieving props", there would not have been any awards. Almost all these "photography awards" are tools for shaping public policy.

Agreed. These photo awards have been corrupted into "MSM-approved visual rhetoric" awards. DPReview should host its own photo awards!

DPR, I would definitely appreciate you doing more projector reviews, but a single projector review with no benchmark-able image data doesn't really help me much.

I don't want this Powershot N 'smartphone companion'. What I want are interchangeable "Ricoh GXR" components that can be slapped into the back of my Samsung Galaxy SIII phone.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to title this article "Interchangeable Lens Camera Buying Guide"? With the advent of SLTs and MILCs, "SLR" is no longer the critical factor; lens interchangeability...

In the short term, Olympus will probably exclusively use Sony sensors. In the long term, Sony might try to convince Olympus to focus on its medical products and merge the best of the Olympus...

Image quality is not what I hoped it would be. Why is the Queen of Hearts so out-of-focus on DPR's image quality test?

Why didn't they include built-in GPS??? That feature is now standard on $250 travelzooms. You pay $800 for the EOS-M and you still have to pay another $250+ for a bulky GPS add-on that occupies...
