I mostly shoot stock photography with the A77 and it has been a challenge because of the high ISO issues. But when you can keep that camera at ISO 50....WOW! It's as good as a medium format!I shoot...

Who would have thought a topic like this would get so many comments! :)

I feel it's an advantage to have a EFV so I hope they keep their minds closed for a little while longer. :)

The cheapest way in is to buy some close-up filters. You can find some really cheap ones on Amazon for around 20 bucks. If you like really like shooting this way, you can move up to something more...

Thanks! That was the 16-50mm 2.8 SSM (the kit lens!)

I've had the A77 since it's release and none of the firmware updates have improved the ISO quailty. But I never thought the A77 performed that badly with a reasonable good photog behind the EFV. A...

No place to strap skis, board or snowshoes. People who design these outdoor packs need to go outside. There's more to being in the backcountry than carrying your camera gear. I'll pass!

It does, I tried it both on and off and it still comes up black. Looks like it might be a problem with the flash though and not the camera because I tried it on my A100 and have the same problem.

I read thru the old threads looking for an answer to my flash problem but it doesn't look like this has come up before.I'm using a Minolta 3600HSD on my A77 and have had very good results up until...

That is correct, no need to remove the door as it slides into a slot in the grip.

Thanks! Yes, it is obtrusive....

I was just at Yosemite and took this with the A77 and kit lens. What a wonderful place to take photos!
