If that one is not available I may have one for sale.

Thank you for the samples. Are there any physical adaptations to do on the lens for your Sony? I may buy one just to be able to use the lens!
-
Thanks! Not sure I'll use it as I do very little flash photography.

Well, it was given to me by a friend whose husband passed away. I had no idea what she was going to give me other than 'old camera stuff ', so the decision should not be mine. She can't use it, nor...

Ok fellow Pentaxians, help me out. I recently acquired a bunch of Pentax and Konica equipment. Among it was this, which was in a little ring type case. Any idea what it is?

lol, yeah, I think I'll forgo your fee ;)
Too bad it won't fit, I've read the bokeh is quite nice on it, although I also received a Pentax M 50mm 1.7 which seems not too bad.
Looks like the...

I've been away for a while due to a crazy busy life.
I recently came into possession of this lens. Does anyone know if it will fit onto Pentax? Specifically my K-x?

I've recently come into possession of this lens. Searching the net seems to show that it is quite rare and somewhat sought after. eBay listings show asking prices of $700 and up.

RAW gives you so much more room to PP than JPEG. I use JPEG only for those quick easy shots, but when I know the scene may present challenges I'll shoot in RAW: low light/high ISO, significant...

Almost any modern day DSLR and long lens can give you results that, though far from what can be seen in the OP's link, are acceptable.I own a Pentax K-x which many judge to have less sophisticated...

I would have if Santa had brought me one for Christmas. :)

I know this isn't really answering your question, but have you considered brightening in PP? In LR3 you can add fill light which helps, or you can choose individual colours/items, for example the...

Too late to edit. Taken with my K-x and Tamron 17-50 and Pentax 55-300 DA L.

I have the Tamron 17-50 2.8 and love it but I do sometimes find it a little short; I bought it for low light use especially and it is quite good wide open. Another option to the 50-135 is the Sigma...

We spent a day in Banff, Alberta over Christmas. It was quite cold but with the clear skies it was beautiful.

That coffee cup is from an iconic Canadian coffee shop. The photo confirms that you can see Tim Horton's coffee everywhere. :-)

Good start.I don't have long glass either. My longest lens goes to 300 mm so I crop to fill the frame a little.I would suggest some PP on your images to bring out the shadows on the eagles.

I updated mine when I was getting memory card problems. No problem updating.
