excellent photos! You're a talented photographer and have a keen eye! i think 85mm is great for street photography, you don't have to be practically on top of the subject..

from what i understand this isn't so critical if you're shooting brief scenes.. most scenes I think won't be shooting for much longer than a minute or two, maybe 5 at the very most..

I'm about 90% ready to purchase a Nikon D7100 along with 85mm 1.8G lens (in the near future I'll probably pick up either the Sigma 17-70 or the 17-50 2.8), but the only thing right that concerns me...

they look pretty sharp to me.. IMO

her nose seems in focus to me.. it's the arm that gives it the illusion its out of focus.but i do agree the last one is a bit overexposed other than that they are quite excellent

i have the 55-300 and as much as i like this lens, in your case i would pass on it. unless you really need the full 300 by all means go for it.. i think it would be redundant to have both lens...
