Black Box: Just wondering. Who would need a 200MP photo and what for? Isn't this just another megapixel race only on a much higher price level?

PS I'm very happy for Hasselblad, though. With Don Luca finally nursing his bruised [donkey], the company is returning to what it does well. The winter of our disconent is gone?

The high-end of photo industry will take all the resolution it can. There are many cost-no-object projects carried out all the time.

Some say, a 24 mm f1.4 is in the wings now...

Earthlight: I really like Sigma these days. Not necessarily for their quirky cameras but the real spirit of innovation and the FABULOUS lenses they do.

For years my Sigma fish eyes have given me great shots when Canon did not offer a circular fish eye at all. The new Art lenses seem like real winners and I will likely invest into them as soon as I need to update or replace my lenses.

How about full frame 12-24 mm f2.8 and 400 mm f4 ART series lenses?

I love it! And I totally get it. This film makes me even more interested in Sigma optics.

Hi impact images for sure! Well done! The style may not be everyone's cup of tea but hey, these images are doing the rounds in social media and it is not a coincidence.

It's amazing how thin materials they can use in the chassis of those superteles.

I cannot help but think about the weight and torque they must withstand and still remain precisely aligned.

In case I had one I would probably worry about this a lot. Hehe, "luckily" it seems I will never get my hands on one. :-D

I think Sony is on to something here. If they get the AF right they have a total winner here in A7r.

I mean this thing looks *so* good next to the $1000 jacket when you stroll around looking for a nice cafe in a European capital of your choice.

I think Jeremy is a cool character. He would probably crack a few good jokes about this camera.

And there's nothing fundamentally wrong with the camera either. I must say I'd like to own one too and occasionally take it out for a spin but I sure as heck do not need one.

That was refreshing. The enthusiasm is contagious and they really are producing interesting cameras right now.
