The number one thing to remember when doing a wet sensor clean is: Don't use too much cleaning solution. 2-3 drops soaked up in the paddle is all you need.

Visible Dust 1.6 and just follow instructions. After you've done it once, its a breeze.

When hiking, I use the 620 w/ kit lenses. If a day trip,  I use an Osprey Stratos pack. Overnights: Osprey  Aether 60. Love both.

I forgot,,,sell the 18-180 too :-). If you already have the 12-60, and buy the 50-200, you got good coverage :-)

As Seth said. You're shooting landscapes at the wrong time of the day. Mid-day is for scouting, morning and late afternoon is for shooting :-).
