The poster whom I replied to was gushing in an earlier post that there is no better camera than the D700, not me. I would hope the D800 being 4 years newer is better than the D700, but in reality...

...but if you don't need the utterly ridiculous megapixels, or movie mode, save yourself a thousand quid and buy a D700 - as you quoted, there is no better camera. Ergo KR has a valid point, no?

How on earth would you perform a good post process job on that p#ss-ant little screen? I'd need at least a good 15" monitor.

I didn't like this image, but I had a look at your website and much prefer your other photo's . I loved the homesteads; especially the field shot.
