I think the LX7 is a little front focusing. The foreground objects are much sharper than the rear.

I would rather be safe than sorry. I would take the K-01 for backup. You could crop those 70mm shots later if needed.

Hi Alan, I bought a K-5IIs yesterday! Go for the K-5IIs I say! :-) The photos are visibly sharper.

:-) Hope you don't mind me pointing out. There are only 5 for Pentax, you counted DA*55 twice. Actually there are a lot of mistakes in the articles if you read them carefully.

I have both the DAL and DA II versions. The DA II is parfocal but the DAL is not. For the DAL, when I change the FL from 18 to 55 or 55 to 18, the lens will refocus. The difference is very obvious....

This is a 'classic'!

I don't have the K-5IIs...yet but I do have the 60-250. It is such a fantastic lens. And don't discount the 60mm on the wide side. It has proven useful on more than one occasion.

For me it is the user interface, the limited lenses, and last but not least the DA*60-250!

A great travel/backup camera when you already have more than a few Canon lenses. No need to reinvest in lenses in other mounts.

I find the AF button useful as an 'AF lock' when my K-5 is on AF.C mode. I set the button as 'cancel AF'. Now I can focus on a subject in AF.C and then press and hold the AF button to stop...
