I have contacted Fuji UK technical support about this 2 weeks ago.
Email topic: "Green Screen of Death" and described that it looks like a Mac OS X kernel panic, only in green.
They had never hard...

DXnikOn is not a very useful real world tool for me...

Yes, but most Fuji X-Photographers use JPG very often because those OOC results are very, very good. And a comparison between the DR of the X10 to X20 would have been of great interest!
-
But it was done on the X10 and since it is such a difficult test, dpreview can really differentiate itself from other sites with this unique feature. Resolution and ISO comparisons were out month...
-
And unless someone proves differently, I would say that EXR has the edge in DR. But we might not know as dpreview did the test on the X10 but not the X20 review...
-
There was one single test that I cared about and that was to see how the Dynamic Range of the small X-Trans sensor in the X20 compared to the EXR sensor in the X10.
And while dpreview tested DR in...

I have this happen to me even without taking photos in such a rapid succession!
What kind of SD card are you using? I am using SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC 95MB/s formated in the camera. My FW is also...

I agree! But when you crop you also lose field of view. So the lost energy in your example is the part of the image that is not visible on the crop camera (if you compare FF vs. APS-C with same...

No that is not generally true, either! Too many pixel crammed next to each other (interfering with each other due to higher temperature in "ISO gain" can cause more noise.
But sensor technology,...

Yes, but lumen per square inch on the sensor is the same!!! You have a bigger chunk of light entering the lens but you also need to distribute it on a lager sensor area!

What!? Sensor area = full stop ISO advantage?
That only counts for DOF...

Could you please report back to us after further testing? My X100s came with FW 1.01 when I bought it about a month ago. And comparing my 2 years experience with the X100 the AF performs better for...

Hi, I have the 5D MK II (for 4 years) and the X-Pro 1 (for 1 year) and the ISO noise is on par between those two cameras.
ISO "inflation" is very difficult to judge as most people forget to take...

I'll guess 1299 Euro

In that case I would preferr the Fuji with the XF 14mm or XF 18mm lens or/and the XF18-55mm

Will this dream ever come true of will the nightmare continue?
Oh, and working exposure compensation in manual :)

Lovely image! I too have used this lens for portraits and it workd well as long as you don't squeeze the subject too much into the edge of the frame :)

I have both (X100 for 2 years and X100s almost 3 weeks).
For pure IQ reasons I don't think that it is worth the upgrade. 12 MPix to 16MPix is nice but I'm still testing if the lens can actually...

What kind of a photographer are you? If you learned and enjoyed the clasic camera control layout with exposure compensation and shutter speed dial and the aperture ring around the lens, then the...
