Richie Beans: OK... now you 5N owners can sell me your camera for $50.
Bite me Richie ...! I love my 5N. :)
Actually, I love the RX1, but NOT for that my money with fixed lens camera. Sony guys must be crazy. It's like paying $40K for the first Mazda Miata...

pingshakl: Finally there is factory radio wieless flash. Pocketwizard is dying....
Dying? Really? With the 30 meter range, and these prices? No way Jose! PW has no reason to worry about Canon. Other Chinese brands using 2400MHZ spectrum with 100m range is a bigger problem. Only very rich professionals will invest in the newest bread of Canon accessories.

It seems that this is yet another example when marketing folks got over their heads. They seem to believe that a same model camera with some improvement deserves +20% price increase. Really? Everything else in electronics gets price / performance increase except Canon? Good luck! I can only predict that this is going to be one of the less successful marketing moves on Canon part. Deep discounts or easily predicted official price drop don't protect the brand, and don't say much about the company. Either way loose-loose. In a meantime Sony and others a busy planing their next move. I am saving my money and sticking with my "good-enough" 7D and NEX-5N for now.
