the recent release of 7DII & G7X should be a good enough reason to show there will be no more new staffs coming from canon that will be "revolutionary" news-wise or camera design or sensor technology-wise. it is obvious though that the large canon customer base is clamoring for a better sensor just by looking on the feedback this marketing scheme had produced. heck even DPR has a tendency to EXPECT canon for a "catch up" release of new sensor that will put them back on "top" of the current new norm of sensor grading system that is low iso high dynamic range capability.

Sam Carriere: This website's silence on these issues does immeasurable harm to its credibility. DPreview has been my barometer for things photographic pretty well since it was launched. From now on, I am looking elsewhere.

this maybe one of the stupidest sample photo of a high end cam that is trying to impress people. am i missing something that these photos maybe conveying?
