  • Is not the K-3 fault, it's with the adobe software. There isn't a profile for the k-3 DNG/PEF yet. For correct development of the K-3 raw output a specific profile is required. This will resolve...
  • Is the jpeg engine a work in progress ? The few images i examined, horse riding girl and jack daniels, are overcooked. So many artifacts in the files. I can't believe these are original jpegs out...

  • not that i don't like the effort you obviously want to put in it, but... Too much compression, jpeg artifacts in the files The crops are different Focus is different  So we are sailing blind...

  • Hello, Good to read those avatar names and probably less the photo's. I loved the healthy verbal battle here in content and otherwise :-D I'm not collecting much Pentax sun in the past years :-(,...
  • Did u use the V2 on fluorescent light, like a light with a refreshrate of 50hz or 60hz or even 100hz. Energy safe light-bulbs and TV's are also of influence: when mixing refreshrates (screen)...
  • Created discussions Loving the sun (V1 + 18.5)
Processed in ACR from NEF. Capturing the mood of enjoying the sun. The 18,5 @ 1.8 is very good sharp wide open, and has a bit of shallow DOF control. I like this lens a lot, in the two days playing...
  • Replied in The Mall
Very good B/W image. Depth and the repetition/collision of lines is for me the eye catcher. I'm not so much fan of the border, it is a bit distracting.
  • The shot was edited in OnOne Creative suite as a test of this suite. Some efex filter used, mostly micro contrast.
  • Street Musician (Nikkor 18,5)
  • Thanks for the comment and the tips. For all shots i used center focus point, the second is not oof but i lifted the shadows of the monkey so it degraded the detail quality. Probably this is what...
  • Thanks, learned a lot from this zoo day. I always need to "know" how a cam reacts and "thinks". The V1 is sure a bit different. But i got some keepers along some missed shots.
  • Created discussions V1 30-110 two from the zoo
First time V1 user, so hello to everybody here. The V1 first use. I bought the V1 kit on sale. First conclusion: it's a great camera. We bought the camera for the high speed shooting capturing my...

Good use of the Q :) Like the first two shots a lot.
  • Not only the Canon 6D has a AF down to -3 EV also the Pentax K-5II/IIs.
    Maybe others also, who knows?
So in the conclusion this is false information.
