I haven't looked at a compact in a while and I'm actually quite amazed at the clean ISO 1600 image (IMG_0485). Would not have imaged such clean images from a compact a few years ago.

Yup, Canon has AF with the VF, except it's optical not electronic.

Leica also has a hand in designing the lenses on the cameras that they rebrand. I'm not exactly sure how involved they are in the process, but at least the lenses have their names on it.

Plus Leica actually has a hand in designing the lenses in the cameras they rebadge, whereas I doubt Hassy had any design inputs at all with the Nex or the RX100.
