Hagen Hirche: Anybody successful in updating the firmware? I tried several ways - via wifi and via their support website but can´t find the update.
File to download :
"Manual upgrade is very easy to perform! First, download this file. If it's a .zip file, unzip it. Then, place the resulting .bin file in the topmost folder of your memory card. Next, ensure that your camera has been fully charged, then choose relevant option from the menu to update your camera/lens firmware."
What a lovely smile !
The last one before going to "bed" !
Having a silent mode, it would be a very great camera for street photography !
A little bigger than my X1 and needs a little bag.
X1 is better in very dim light and when I need a long exposure during the night.
All in all, X100S is very good too especially during the days.
pleytime: Upload fixed
Not yet ! :)
Do you plan to put a thin and articulated LCD on the RX1 in a very near future ?
Casa Batllo, Barcelona, Spain
Khun_K: This could be anything but a RX camera, not that it is not good (who knows), but it could have been called other name and just does the job. Logically a RX10 placed between the RX1 and RX100(I&II) should share the same form factor and a APS-C sensor will medium zoom will be just perfect.
> ...I still hope Sony comes with a fixed lens APS-C compact...
In the mean time, I'm keeping my almost APS-C G1X

Congratulations, you've found the right answer.

My Fuji X100 blows this away in every category! Faster lens, sharper screen, viewfinder hybrid and built in, and overall more pleasing to use! Not mention costs half as much. Between this and the M9 Mono, Leica disappoints yet again!
Perhaps it's only about 98% :)
I'll take one X2 to replace my X1. Fuji X100 or X1 Pro are a bit too big for me and I don't like Fuji's Jpeg green color.
The sixth card is an another ace :):)
