Anyone know why only 64 bit version is available?thanks
C1 support replied it was due to the limited amount of memory available to the applications in 32b environments. I can't believe this is the real reason. I have been running C1 6 on 1GB of RAM, yes it is slow but at least it works as a backup on my portable. If 7 has exploded that much, then something must be wrong ;-(
brkl: It's been mentioned, but I'll mention it again in case they're listening. Proper DNG support is a must. I would have bought the thing when 7 came out if it read my DNGs.
this is not a DxO problem. Most raw convertors do not include the required lens info in their DNG output; You can verify this by manually copying the Maker info from your NEF into the non-camera generated DNG (use Exiftool). As soon as you have done that, DxO will happily read the file and apply the corrections. I use C1 and have the same issue, but PhaseOne is not receptive to add the missing info.
will it be possible to manually indicate the camera-lenscombination to use for correction. This type of info is lost if I process raw files in another application (e.g.C1) and want to use the resulting Tiff file as input in DxO?
