  • Well, should have been: "better color depth of around 1 bit" :-)

  • @BarnET. The D810 has no AA-filter, better color depth of almost one stop and better dynamic range. The high ISO performance is almost identical for the two cameras. All in all the D750 cannot...

  • @ChuckTa I wouldn't worry so much about the 11 bit raw problem. It is not perfect, but the A7 is still a very enjoyable camera in use and capable of getting some very good results even with the kit...

  • @DStudio. I fully agree on the lenses. I would really like something better than the kit lens, but the price performance does not seem to match in favour of the Zeiss lenses.

    They are for sure...

  • Just confirmed that there is no reason to get it over the A7 and pay a lot extra for IBIS and more weight as I don't care about those :-)

  • About the same IQ as A7. Nice.

  • I'm a Nikon shooter and just got an A7 with the kit lens and a cheap Fotga adapter for my Nikon and Voigtlander lenses. It is a lot of fun and really a great little camera.

  • It would be perfect for $300 less and with f/1.8 or f/2.0 instead of f/2.8.

  • Just drag the cameras one at a time to the prioritized voting list.

  • @Rishi. Yes the D750 grip may be deeper and it is of course a personal matter, but I prefer the D810 grip.

I also agree that the D750 will have more mass appeal because of lower price, weight and...

  • The D750 it is great for the price and it is nice with "only" 24MP, but it cannot touch D810 for ultimate image quality.

  • I think the A7 is an interesting choice and IQ can be good from it. Price is also low with the kit lens, but besides that, the other lenses are quite expensive and will lighten your wallet...

  • @Viking79 - I don't quite understand why? Slice a 24 MP pixel APS-C sensor to the size of a 4/3 sensor and there would still be around 14,6 MP left, which is more than enough for most people. At...

  • Maybe start making a sensor that is on par with the best APS-C sensors 😊

  • Check Thomas Stirr at Photography Life. His photographs taken with the V2 and good lenses are exceptional.

Also check Joe Márquez at Flickr - stunning photgraphs with the V3 and the 32mm f/1.2.

  • Just a note. The reason for the high speed rendering of an image in Acdsee, is because it is set to display the embedded jpg image from the raw file by default.

If high quality decode is selected...
