mka78: This is a nice photo , the colors and are just fine. As the two Zebras are looking in different directions they make the picture more interesting. Placing the Zebras almost symetric and the horizont in the middle weakens the photo.
mka78, thank you for your constructive feedback. I will return to the original and see if I can find a better crop to be less symmetrical and see how it works.
Ceesprof: This is a brilliant photo and a very lucky shot. Bravo!
Thank you for your interest. Can you tell me more about what it is that draws your criticism? The image was converted to black and white and re-sized to be square. There was very minimal post processing. I felt very fortunate/lucky in this particular image. Here it is before conversion. http://sag.smugmug.com/photos/348851952_q8nAe-XL.jpg
brentbristol: This is quite beautiful. It appears that Heaven itself favors this little hamlet!
Yes, it seems you are right. The village is Pigna.
nbela: This photo brings back very good memories for me. Congrats on your 1st place I know, I know I'm little bit late on this ;)
Thank you. It brings back good memories for me also.
nanand81: nice lighting and well framed. Did you try in in B/W? I generally find that serious themes work well in B/W
Thanks for your comment. I haven't tried it in black and white...but, I will now. I will share what I come up with.
DK Baker: Do you mean 25 votes per challenge? Mine isn't listed as a percentage - ??
I agree that the spirit is in the right direction. I, myself, can't meet the standard. I obviously need to vote more. But, I will never get to that ratio...a lot of it is my conviction that we shouldn't be voting in challenges we enter.
