historianx: For the uninformed: this is not a m4/3 camera. It's a fixed-lens 4/3. There is no such thing as a fixed-lens m4/3 camera.

It´s a 4/3 sensor !!! So it´s a 4/3 camera...

Yes ! Let´s have some real compact 36x24 digital system camera which we can have in a pocket, a bit like a Kodak Retina, but with interchangeable lenses :)

Mamiya 6 and 7, Plaubel Makina 67 would also be very nice in digital :)

On ebay you can sometimes buy Leica M and R dummy cameras for more than the real ones, the dummy cameras have nothing inside, that is because they were used as display in camerastores, so Leica today - you can completely stop making real cameras and only make dummies, those who buy a Leica camera today do not use them, the only posh flash to show they own a Leica. If people who own a Leica want to take a picture the use an iphone :D

VikingPhotographer: Back in the good old days of celloidfilm cameras nearly all the cameras of all brands was in "chrome" with black "leather", the black models came fx in Hasselblad because of small faults in the chrome, so in a way the were never first choice at the time. Then the black versions became popular for some press photographers and black became more popular, but it was still chrome versions that was first choice. At the time where plastic became more and more the most used material for camera bodies, then black became the norme, not because they were more popular, no because chrome was to diffucult to look nice in plastic ! I must admit that chrome plastic looks very cheap compared to real metal chrome ! But take a look at a Hasselblad chrome, it just look so nice ! The new - still much too expensive - Leica in chrome look cheap and depressed. At the price of a Leica, I would rather but a Fuji X-serie plus a Canon 5D, plus a Sony, plus a...

The M-days and ongoing... ;)

Charles2: Third-party MF primes are so much more effective and fun on a Fuji XE-1. New firmware allows min shutter speed to trigger ISO increase. Mag rocker button is immediate, 3X and 10X. It's an APS-C camera, but a Voigtlander 21/4 works fine on it.
The reviewer gives details that make his case about the Sony. Sony is a new-tech gizmo company, not a camera company.
