Once set, repeatedly pressing the display button should show a display with the grid lines in it. It can be active , but still not show up. Cycling through the few screens each time the 'display'...

How about trying one of the TZ/ZS cameras. 20x optical zoom range, fits in pocket (can always have with you). Similar menu systems, short learning curve, if any. ANAYV

Depends. Some of us (OK, here, many of us) choose to edit/post process our images. Those who do, might find different settings. For me I choose to not shoot my FZ200 in RAW, and set all settings...

This isn't true for everyone, Vincent. We have a mix of old and young in this forum. Some never used film camera's. My point being perhaps it's not mentioned by folk cause some can use the LCd's...
