Let's just agree to disagree. There are both pros and cons to the XZ-10 and P330 philosophy. At the end of the day, both are capable cameras and the preference of the user will dictate his or her...

Obviously I am only talking about sensor performance. IQ is a combination of both the lens performance AND sensor performance. Of course a superzoom lens will not match a 5x below zoom lens.
And...

AFAIK, the aperture ring only works with the Panasonic L1, L10 and Leica Digilux 3 bodies. The aperture ring does not work on Olympus FT or MFT bodies.

If you think that the sensor performance of the P7700/MX-1/XZ-2 from ISO 100 and above are not neck and neck, I don't know what is. I also did not say that the ISO 80 of the P7700 is an extended...

Sure, but how much advantage will it have? This is where DxO Mark's charts will be useful if they release the XZ-10 results but looking at the recent 1/2.3" sensor of the SX50 vs the P7700 charts,...

Hi! If it is ok with you and have the time, can you list down the maximum aperture value of the XZ-10 at certain focal lengths?Say it is obviously f/1.8 @ 26mm eq and f/2.7 @ 130mm. But what about...

At 24mm, it will for sure. But at which focal length can the P330 keep up the fast wide-open aperture?Looking at the DPR equivalent aperture chart, you can see that the P330 lens already loses...

That's true. Lots of interesting cameras today. Anyway, I do not think the difference between this generation's 12 MP BSI 1/2.3" and 1/1.7" sensor is huge, which definitely favors the XZ-10 with...

Oh come on. I already answered this your MX-1 DxO Mark thread a week ago. And the performance is practically neck and neck from ISO 100 onwards. UNLESS you are using ISO 80 with your P7700 which is...

Olympus Viewer 3 software? There is a new version of the software?

http://www.ephotozine.com/article/olympus-m-zuiko-digital-ed-17mm-f-1-8-lens-review-21464 Seems like a positive review for the 17mm.

IF only you will look at the graphs you'll see that there's no special sauce, only access to a lower base iso with the P7700 which will obviously net a higher DR and Color Depth score.

E-PM2 IR studio shots G15 IR studio shots If you scroll down to the bottom those pages, you'll see a studio shot where the E-PM2 was taken with the kit lens @ 14mm f/3.5 and f/8 and @ 42mm f/5.6...

Cameralabs usually uses the included kit lens of the camera they are reviewing.

As posted with the other DxOMark thread. It equals the Fujifilm X-S1 Low-light score that has a 2/3" sensor despite having a smaller 1/1.7" sensor.Slightly less maximum DR and Color Depth score due...
