maboule123: Is this a montage?
A friend who visited this place says that the motifs are never seen like so.. The place is so huge to have all those elements reunited on one shot, no matter the angle.

Tell your friend to visit it again. And to look more carefully.

Tord S Eriksson: Many of the excellent shots have a streak (oil?!) horizontally, in the upper left corner - or is it a lens fault?!

Clean your screen. There is not streak of oil.

thejohnnerparty: I am sorry to post this here, but the advertising on the DPR web page is out of control. The ads block access to the forum dropdown list and if you mouse over the ad it starts the audio. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!!!!!

Why don't you use an ad-blocker ?

Michael_13: Sony sensors + Sony marketing + Olympus optics/bodies = great success

I know that their primary goal is industrial products, but I hope that they finally also join forces for consumer products.

I think the E-M5 is a promising "preview" for this.

They got Minolta and did nothing. They will destroy Olympus too.

EasyClick: Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt NASA supposed to have technology decades ahead of what's available on the market? They're the guys inventing the science and breakthrough technology...By the same reasoning they should have a photo sensor that would only be available today on the market. I understand the article but I just thought otherwise... Maybe someone should send an iPhone to Mars??

>They're the guys inventing the science and breakthrough technology...
Nope. Germans were. Russians too. Google "Wernher von Braun", for example.
NASA had much more money to spend. That's all.

Photos of people in their normality, photos that have a message. Not cheer-leading, not praising values which no longer exist. Reaction is not surprising. For a nation that pampers fake, I am surprised he wasn't bludgeoned.
