It's called incremental improvements. If a camera maker gives us everything we want, then it won't be able to sell us any more cameras. I'm confident that the swivel LCD will return soon enough.

Can anyone please explain to me why Olympus absolutely refuses to allow users to assign metering to the customizable direct function buttons in its cameras??? It's been like this for years now. We...

I'm always amused at haters that resort to insults and put downs. If someone doesn't like to use face detection, keep the feature turned "off." It's hilarious to see some feel threatened by face...

Is that how ratings and awards are calculated or dished outt? Add the pros and cons? I missed that memo.

So glad a major reviewer finally discussed the lack of face detection in Fuji's "advanced" cameras. I hope Fuji will implement face detection via firmware upgrade in its "advanced" cameras, and/or...

I don't see many non-enthusiast P&S users (i.e. Best Buy shoppers) buying many if any Ricoh GR's. The target buyer for Ricoh cameras is pretty narrow for the most part.

Impressive camera! Might have to buy my first Nikon DSLR. I wonder why Nikon kept the ISO button on the left side. Looks like a winner though.

Is the Tamrom an internal zoom? That'd make it a more attractive proposition over the Oly and Pany counterparts.

How many slow "normal" zooms do we need for m4/3? This is about 4 from Pany and about 4 from Oly now? Sigh ...

This is good news, specially for using the 18-55 or any other future zoom lenses when using aperture priority. When using the 18-55 with the XE1, at 55mm and with the OIS "on", the auto-ISO chosen...

Never mind, the website states there IS face detection. Woohoo!

According to the specs, the X20 lhas no face detection AF. Bummer.

If you are used to the speed and accuracy of the OMD and Nikon 1, the XE1 + 35/1.4 is not even close, especially in less than ideal lighting situation. Used to have a V1 and Xpro1, and now have the...

Do a search on Flickr. There's a number of photos already.

Definite plus for face detection on the OMD. Makes off centre portrait photos MUCH easier -- particularly if someone with less experience is using the camera.

You should be able to use the lens cap to unscrew the front ring. Push the cap against the camera, and then turn. That works on my "silver" X100 ... :( Jealous of you folks with the "black" X100. :)
