For the G3 the new raw processing is worth close to a full stop in high ISO noise. Even 6400 is nice for 8x10's and I find myself wishing the G3 had a 12800 setting.
Oddly my E-P1 raw files show little change relative to LR3.6

This is a bit misleading. WRT effective focal length the slightly smaller sensor in most Mirrorless camera makes a big difference. Just compare the size of the Nikon 105 f1.8 that I use on my m43 system with a Canon 200mm f2! Of course a 200 mm lens is approximately the same size no matter what system.
Indeed, great photo. But this was a tough challenge and this is not a car.
Re-submit if there is ever an American Truck challenge!
