I believe X-Pro1 on the left, X-A1 on the right. I'd be happy with either one.

Sounds like I'm in the minority, but Xtrans is the reason I bought my X-E1. An X-series camera without XTrans? Why?

You keep mentioning "OIS" - on this and the other thread. iPhone has had image stabilization for years - what specifically are you looking for?
-
I bought it last week as a complement to my X-E1. Sent it back today :/
It's too small for the lenses - my hands were cramping trying to hold the camera steady, particularly with the 18-55 (from...

Yep, confirmation they're abandoning photographers and only providing old and or dumbed-down versions of the software I (used to) use. Hopefully another company will be able to pick up the slack.

Guess that's the end of Photoshop for me - no way in h*ll I'm paying a monthly fee to use it :/

Sure, I just posted it here:

I also downloaded and tried your presets - thanks for making them available!

Sure - this is what I used as a starting point for each of these:
Fuji X-E1_John Walker
As I said, this is a lot more pumped-up than I usually process, but it's pretty close to what I'm getting...

It's certainly much better than earlier version of the ACR / LR engine. I now feel it's basically on par with the results out of the camera (except for the colors, as I've mentioned). I actually...

Yes - as I mentioned, the example I provided was output from Lightroom and brought into Photoshop for some final tweaking, but all the remaining shots are straight out of Lightroom with my custom...

I recently had a few hours only to do some photography around San Francisco (between flights out of SFO). Used my X-E1, and I always shoot raw + JPEG because I love to tinker ;)
I was...

So cool - I bought Color EFex a couple years back, and now I have the whole suite for free :)

That second / middle shot is stunning - be sure to check it out full-sized.

I love it - I know they can't retrofit the Digital Split Image and faster focus to existing X-E1, etc., as those are hardware-enabled, but hope they give us a firmware update for focus peaking,...

Fuji with the 18-55 is quite a bit faster than Sony NEX-5N, which I was pretty happy with before. I have and use both.http://jhwalker.smugmug.com/

Yes, I see the same thing. It appears focus achieved via the AF-L button in Manual mode is not as accurate as the focus achieved using the shutter button in AF-S or AF-C mode :/Doesn't make sense,...

You're right - I'm still learning the best JPEG settings, so it could certainly be better.FWIW, here are the JPEG settings I'm using:Film Simulation = AstiaDR = 100 (I like the enhanced DR settings...

I don't know - I think we're going to see some pretty good results from raw once the routines are sorted for the X-Trans sensor:Original OOC JPEG on the left; JPEG processed from raw on the right

I see virtually *no* noise in this photo - certainly less than I'd normally see from my D3.if you expect less from any crop camera, you will certainly be disappointed.

You'll get it - in the other raw convertor currently in beta. One-click (Auto Adjust), better than in-camera JPEG :)
