FTH: One reason I would never buy such a small camera : you are holding the lens and not the tiny camera !
It looks like a sheet of paper holding a metal tube.

Graystar: The rules are never broken. Whenever you think the rules are being broken, what it really means is that a rule is being applied that you're not aware of.

Divide that first image into 8 rows and 8 columns. Go 5 across and 5 down. You'll end up at the box where all the action is...the teeth into the arm. 8/5 = 1.6 It's a perfect Golden Mean placement.

The rule of thirds is actually a simplified version of Golden Mean placement.

+I agree

I stil use the rule of the "golden cut", its an old rule but in some cases ,,its just that rule that make the picture"

dmartin92: This is my vote for the most interesting camera of 2012.

I'd look at it as being more of a test prototype that is being sold to consumers. The ones that really want it.

Instead of having a 23mm lens on it, it has a 35mm lens on it, which gives it the option of DOF control.

But it's just so amazing to see the thing in people's hands. It's "tiny", for a FF digital camera.

Sony will eventually sell the sensor to other companies. They'll make money that way too. This camera shows just how small the camera can be. Great marketing tool for the sensor.

More a product to make social media adict's, futher slave to the internet contracts of the Cel networks, I I personally find that it ad nothing to the MMS funktion om my phone and use the Wi-Fi® for bigger things like video, lts a competitor for the existing (and mutch more flexible) Eye-Fi card, and If I I had to choose, I choose the last one, becouse I don't want to invest mony in One cam, that not comparable is with my existing Gear.
