Akpinxit: luftweg - you're right , but keep in mind , that these sort of articles (originally at least) are mend to inform those , who are looking to buy their first camera and need to know what they're looking at

You got a point, but Film and Photo are two divergent kind off things (in my world) ,...

On SanDisk unveils 512GB Extreme Pro card article (160 comments in total)
In reply to:

Joe Mayer: Well, in 2003 the 1GB card came out with a msrp of around $330. So now people are complaining of 512GB for $800? Don't get me wrong. I'm happy with my 64GB CF cards from Sandisk for $100 and I have no use for SD nor do I feel like spending $800 for any card, though if I really really had the use and/or need for one I guess I would. Just putting it in perspective. 512 times the capacity (and an incredible increase in speed too) for less than three times the price in a decade. Not too bad.

I agree, considering a 32Gig for my Tab, is now for € 19,95 sail all-so a Sandisk,.to replace the 8 Gig..just using the Tab in de field for downloading by Wifi the pic's off my Gear, they are all equipped with 8Gigs CF and SDHC's never had a need for space with pic's but now with video the space is increasing so I got me a 1Tb USB external to solve the problem, price € 59,- incl cables so $800,- ? saved some mony I think?

hemi71cuda: Really cool. My main concern is how much storage space does it need to do this? I don't have enough space on my phone at the moment to record a 10 minute video for this thing to speed up. So if the recording occurs within the app, does it record the full video then convert it or does it occur in real time?

I think thats not any worry worth, you upload and it will be processed then you download it, and get the result, so,....
