Market research for Adobe?

As someone else said, dropping the price of LR now looks suspiciously like an attempt to get people 'hooked' before introducing a subscription only model, not the altruistic kindness adobe seem to...

My guess is that in a few years time Lightroom will be CC only. Not good.

Good point, in that I am (at present) unaware of Apertures long-term future. HowaboutRAW: I wrote my comment on the basis that, although this subscription plan is not currently applying to...

Well, this is making me look at ditching Lightroom for Aperture. They might never change Lightroom to subscription only, but it's a chance I don't really want to take. I would rather make the...

Well, this is making me look at ditching Lightroom for Aperture, well done Adobe. They might never change Lightroom to subscription only for all I know, but it's a chance I don't really want to...

Yes, APS mirrorless with a pancake can be impressively small. But what about telephoto, and fast telephoto? (If such a thing even exists for the system in question...). That is why (IMO), whilst...

I thought the point was a smaller camera system. Note the use of the word system - that means a range of bodies and lenses. Using an outlier (i.e. the largest camera body, the GH3) to make a point...

NEx and M43 can both survive. It will be interesting to see if Sony can make a fast zoom that matches the small size of their bodies.
