Impressive ! raw comparison holds very well against the D800 and the Canon 5D Mk III, both much more expensive.

In reply to:

mapeters: This photo is solid, however the vote spread looks very suspicious. I suspect someone created a few extra accounts for themselves to ensure that they received an abnormally high number of "5" votes.

Of the highest rated photos, the vote spread for numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 all look very suspicious. Compare the votes on those photos to the pictures that received 5th, 12th, 14th, and so forth, and it suddenly looks like a few people have been playing the very unethical "create extra vote accounts" game.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the vast majority of the people voting 5.0 on photos 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 where using accounts created in the last 10 days or so, rather than the usual 3-48 month old accounts of most members.

I am afraid you might be correct.
If true this really sucks...

That shot caught my eye when the challenge was open.
I just wanted to vote, but I forgot.
Obviously you did not need it to come in first.
Excellent capture !

I gave this shot a 5.
The moment I saw this picture, I knew it was a winner.
This led me to look at your website, I looked at every single one of your NY pictures; your work is absolutely incredible.
You have some real treasures in there. You've got to get published, if it's not already done.

Slight correction.
Actually it is the picture that finished 44 (also from Inle lake) that gave me the idea to post mine.
