  • What exactly is happening? I have used both Adobe Reader and Preview and haven't had issues with Preview for a long time. I had issues with Preview years ago when filling out some forms from the ...
  • Beautiful scenes. They bring back memories for me as well. Thanks for posting.
  • I skipped Lion and went to Mavericks. If you want to run Lightroom, you will need to upgrade. There isn't a way around it.
  • When I bought mine, moving from a PC, I had specific needs. When I added up the cost of a PC laptop with the same features, the only one I found at the time was a Sony, to the 13 inch Macbook Pro, ...
  • I agree with this completely. I am still using an old S90. It has been a fantastic camera. The S90 and the newer versions allow the easy use of manual mode and shoot in RAW mode. I have done many ...
  • Replied in moon!
    Very nice.
  • Replied in moon!
You're welcome, and sorry I didn't explain before. Cheers
  • Replied in moon!
Sorry, I have been traveling and am jet lagged and missed a lot. At 100 percent, the detail around the edge of craters is not good, it looks pixelated. It almost looks as if the image was upscaled. ...

They definitely look better. They definitely are sharp. I really need to get me a longer lens, my longest is the 70-200, if you don't count my telescopes. I too shoot with the 50D.
  • Replied in moon!
Yes, that one is much cleaner at 100 percent than the first one you posted. As I said before, I do not know if it is a product of something on my end, compression on upload or what. I am just ...
  • Replied in moon!
Viewed at 100 percent it looks very bad. I'm not sure if it is a result of uploading the image and some sort of compression, or if it was just over sharpened or over processed.
  • Very nice.
  • My only comment is that it isn't what I would call, "low light." You could have easily shot this at f/8 and still had a fast enough shutter speed to hand hold the camera at ISO100.
  • I have been archiving images using an MDISC DVD drive. the MDISC reportedly will be long lasting storage, 1,000 years. http://www.mdisc.com/what-is-mdisc/
  • Also, don't forget about Canon's loyalty program. You can trade in your old camera for a newer refurbished model. I got a 50D like that a number of years ago, and it is still going strong.
  • Well timed shot, it makes it look as if the Opera House is part of the ship. As for infrared, with the exception of the few trees int he shot, the image simply looks like a black and white image. ...
  • I still don't use my computer for this, I use my ROKU. Before the ROKU I used my DVD player that has WIFI. I see no reason to use my computer for the TV, the Mac or the PC. I used the Mac for a ...
  • Was there a question in there somewhere? I have a Mac, I feel it was a good value because when I priced a computer with the same features, Bluetooth, etc., it was cheaper than the PC equivalent. ...
  • If you do not use a cable release or other remote to trip the shutter, put the phone in bulb mode, place a dark piece of cardboard in front the lens, but not touching, trip the shutter, wait a few ...
  • At 8x10 you won't really have any issues with noise. You may see it when blown up on the monitor, but printed at 8x10 you won't see it. I have many prints done at 3200 from my 50D and they look ...
