Perhaps Nikon's DX product manager could be fixed by boling in water!

Totally agree. Utterly useless.
Not a D300 replacement (still less a D2Xs replacement) but the D7100 looked worth tyring until I saw the buffer data.
Deal killer. Stone dead.
My D300 soldiers on.

Nikon are really on the ball this year.
These usually arrive in April!!

Don't read too much into it, I've been sent the survey as well; it's full of typos and quirky language.
-
If it's new & Nikon, Moose will endorse it regardless.

It's a terrible sensor then.

Really?

D3200 sensor.D3s body. No? OK I'll put up with a D4 chassis.Price? Don't care, I just need it.Is it really that hard Mr Nikon?
-
It's a heavy breather, like the Nikon 70-200 VRII. Deal killer. Pity.
-
What makes you think that there will be a D7100?
-
If you want more mp, slightly better high ISO, significantly less capable AF, inferior build quality and a smaller buffer then go for it.Otherwise a D300s, or wait & wait for the D400

He's all over the shop on the future (what future?) of DX; just covering his a##

4 batteries and 2 back up chargers, BUT Nikon chose to make it impossible for me to use any of them..........
-
Not now.Bye bye hi-end DX.('hope I'm wrong, but all the runes say that I'm not)
-
Price is still above the launch price and that was way too much for way too little over the D3s.
-
-
Nope.Works perfectly on my D3s.

Clouds of black smoke, that turn white when you select a new body.........
