Ok for the video capabilities and sweet costant 2.8... but an a58 with 18/135 is by far cheaper! More or less same dof, can possibly compensate light with higher iso (bigger sensor), dimensions and weight are not far.... Am I missing something? Maybe the quality of the lens will make the difference...
I like the idea of a brute force processor on a tiny sensor. 30 fps, and slomo video, no cell phone does that (and no dslr...). That hopeless lens is the issue, shorter zom, wider aperture, and manual shutter control in slo mo video and this could be a good one.
Why the jpg size of the sample is 4.8 mb against the 6.8mb of the k30? Maybe Excessive compression is related to the softness of jpgs? I usually set +2inSharpness and +1 in saturation, what are your best settings?
Maybe they will skip this and wait for a59, considering shelf life of sony cams
